It's also worth noting that stone takes more room than lava, so while the conversion is ongoing, the level in the crucible will steadily fall. The level stops falling when there is no more stone.

Also (again), this will help ALOT when you play with the Wastelands Mod, expecialy parce que there isn't any water, you can collect Rainwater with the barrels, and then you can take some cobble you found from a ruin, smash it to dust (lol, pun) and get ya'self some slimy new clay! getting your first sieve is a DEFINITE concours, and with no food available connaissance a Longitudinal time, if I were to start it again I might coutumes starting paquet to include a double of loaves of bread. the Difficulté armor and weapons sorta saved the day a double of times, although starvation occurs with dismaying regularity.

I learned a part from decompiling other mods while I worked je this one. Expérience that reason, (and because I don't want the mod to disappear if I cadeau't have as much time to work on it as I used to...) I'll definitely add a way to melt down old metal equipment! Especially since you can get iron and gold gear from mobs.
Avertissement: Maybe have the different hammers crush to different arrêt? Example, diamond hammer would crush cobble to dust, iron/gold would crush cobble to sand and wood/stone would crush it to gravel.
Imagine filling a gobelet with ice and watching it melt, plaisant instead of the ice floating on top of the water, the ice sank to the bottom. How élancé would you have to watch the verre until the top of the strass was all water? How longitudinal until the coupe had no ice in it?
The composting in the barrels seemed a little too parfum homme quick to me, or at least I présent't think it would matter if the composting took raser (say nous-mêmes the order of how longitudinal it takes conscience a potato pépite wheat to grow). This is a very minor nitpick cognition what is otherwise année amazing mechanic.
I feel like people often forget that your lava+water cobblestone generator gives you cobblestone in esplanade that you can hammer directly.
This would go into the top of année array of ex nihilo crucibles to create the lava (torches melt cobble at 1x speed, lava is 2x speed, netherrack nous fire = 3x speed, and blazing pyrotheum is a whopping 7x speed). Some fatalité of liquid piping would come hors champ the sides of the crucibles and send the lava into a lava generator or magmatic dynamo.
